Hate to see a newcomer not get a taker. Don't know anyone using a Franchi but they look well made, those I have seen. Each shotgun can be a little different. I suggest getting some large paper and pattern yours at various ranges so you know what your are sending towards dinner! Might try #5 shot full choke first. If you have a 3" chamber, I would try 3" loads.

I bought a jellyhead choke and it is a 655 "thats all they had" and I patterned it with wal-mart shell and wasn't very happy. Do you think the choke is to tight or maybe it is the shells. I tried 4,5 and 6 shot ,but they were all cheaper shells. They were 3inch also. Any ideals on what to try?

First to check on a couple things... did screw in chokes come with your shotgun? I would try those first. Also, what kind of pattern are you seeking? Some try to concentrate shot into the head and neck, which is understandable given that you are dealing with very edible game. Full chokes should help with that. I have seen some recommendations for a modified choke. Keep in mind that will open your pattern up into more bird. If you go down to improved cyinder, wider still.

I hear hunters bragging up Briley chokes although I have not personally tried one. They also build for Franchi.
