Just like to know what type choke and shot work best for other hunters, i shoot a rem 870 mag super full rem tube 3" #4 in rem. or federal prem. good pattern out to 45 yds.

I use a Win 1300 20" bbl with an aftermarket turkey choke that shoots a good pattern for head hits at approx 50 yds., but hey... at 25 yards its REAL good.

i use a sbe eagle with a 2 1/2X scope,kicks .660 choke and 3 1/2"#5 hevishot.

I use a Rem. 11-87 21 in" barell in "3" and have had great patterns with Rem 4x6 duplex loads in my sons 11-87 with 26 inch barell the Rem 5's shoot best he took a whopper of a Rio last spring at 48 paces but the guy doin the pacen was about 5'10"

I use a 12 Ga. 11-87 SP with a 28" barrel. It likes Winchester Double X Magnum #6. I would try to shoot one at 35-40 yards , however I try to call them in close. Last year was about 12 yards, the shot worked fine. That was a wild hunt!

I use a rem. 870 super mag., 3&1/2 winchester #5, with a tru glo choke tube. Patterns pretty well out to 45.

Remington 870, 20 gauge, 2 3/4, 6 shot. I have a old Winchoke on it. Max range for me using full is about 30 to 35 yards.
