What chokes go in a Stoeger O/U?

My buddy just bought a Stoeger 12 ga O/U and wants me to get him a couple of chokes for it.

Do they just take regular Benelli chokes?

Thanks!

I bought a little Stoeger SXS for a beater gun and frankly it's a nice gun for the price. It uses the old win choke type which is the same as the Browning Invector. They can be found easily but dont confuse them with the newer Browning Invector Plus type as they are not interchangable.

I guess this may be somewhat of a dumb question, but can I assume that the O/U's take the same chokes as the SXS's?

Yes the Stoeger will take the same chokes on the O/U and the SxS. The only difference is some brands use a different thread pattern so you need to make sure they will work in a Stoeger.

I am seriously looking at buying a Stoeger O/U. They have them on sale at *icks sporting goods for $399, would love to turn it into my upland bird and trap gun and use my Mossy 500 as my squirrel, deer, and soon my waterfowl gun.
