I looked at some Perazzi shotguns while at a Shot show . Shotgun ,Case and four barrels (you changed barrels instead of chokes ) for a measly $260.000 .

what awesome beautiful shotguns. I had the privilege of shooting a lower-grade Perazzi at an ATA meet out on Long Island many years ago, and a Merkel SxS awhile back as well. They are beauts but they gotta fit or else they're what
the Italians call a 'scaccia banca' (bank-breaker). I have a beretta 682 silver trap o/u with 32" barrells but in the
words of Homer ...:MMMMmmmmmm perahhh-tzi .......

So what are the prices and how soon can you deliver them? Oh that's right they aren't yours? How long until you can acquire them and get them out to me( no questions asked of course)? I have had some lower end Perazzi and I can tell you they are some of the best handling and made guns out there.Even the Merkels don't hold a candle to these gems in my opinion. Very nice items thanks for reminding me I'm POOR!!!!!!!!!!!!! AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You shoot like hell afire. It's truly one of the world's fine shotguns, and priced accordingly. 90 percent of all shooters have never swung a shotgun of this quality and design. It's surely different from all those Citori's and Mossberg's and Remingtons out there...

A set of four (12ga 20 28 and 410) with all the matching wood cost $480,000! and im not sure if they are as high of a grade as these. I just seen them on shooting USA at the vegas shot show.

I remember a few years back Beretta produced a matched set of complete shotguns:
8 gage, 10 gage, 12 gage, 16 gage, 20 gage, 28 gage and .410 gage (if memory serves me right).
They were all sidelocks, whose engraving depicted the history of the world...from dinosaurs to the modern
times beginning with the largest gage and working down to the smallest. The walnut used for the stocks had been in Beretta warehouses for almost 300 years. I believe that set did not cost as much as the matched
4-gun set described earlier, even tho the collection came with it's own cherrywood display case.
There're some marvelous things out there for the stupendously rich.... I'll keep playing my lottery tix and dreaming....

Form and function are 2 different things. For the kind of money paid for Perazzi, do you think a
pair of boxlocks can compare ? I dunno...I guess there's shotguns that may look as nice, but
swing, fit, construction, those things cost and you won't get it for a couple 'thou.

Plus, you can look at the type of engraving on the 2 perazzi sidelocks and on the breechblock.
That's bas-relief that's just not normally seen anyplace, let alone on factory guns.
