RE: Browning BPS Shotgun

I think the main reason you don't see more of them is simply the price. They are a more expensive weapon than a mossberg or remington. But then again they made better as well in my opinion. I personally wouldn't buy a wingmaster over a nice BPS, the BPS is just a better gun in my opinion. But if I just wanted a beater gun it's hard to beat a 250-300 dollar mossberg or remington field grade model.

Some don't like the bottom eject either because it is more complicated.

I have owned a mossberg, remington and the new H&R pardner pump. My next pump gun will be a BPS and I will keep it.

I did manage to bend one of the bars that releases the shotgun shells out of the magazine into the follower. This was after I had a bad case of Fiochii Steel shot that would expand too much upon firing, and I'd have to slam the butt of the shotgun on the ground to eject the empty shell. After I did that I took the rest the case back to the dealer, told them the problem, and they made it all right after test firing one shell out of a random box.

I think the BPS is one of ,if not the best pump shotgun on the market.I like the bottom eject ,the thumb safety, and craftmanship.(After all it is a Browning;))As far as the invector plus. The choke tubes are about double of the regular invector. If I am not mistaken the invector plus guns have a tapered forcing cone and are back bored and the invectors are not. When having a turkey shoot gun built the first thing I do is to back bore,do the forcing cone before sleeving the gun.Just don't think you can beat the BPS.
