Remington! I can' t say enough about these guns. I have a Remington 700 ADL in 30.06 caliber and it' s a pure tack driver. I did bed the action, float the barrel, and do a trigger job but it was accurate before i did these things. My point is last weekend i picked up a new Remington 700 ADL in 25.06 caliber and i shot it yesterday for the first time and it shot under an inch right out of the box even with a trigger at about 6lbs. I' m gonna do a trigger job on it Saturday and get it around 3lb like my 30.06 and roll up some rounds. You gotta love these guns or at least i know i do!

The trigger on a Rem 700 can only SAFELY be brought down to 3 1/2 lbs. After the ttigger is adjusted there are a few simple test to do to make sure it is safe. If you want to go below 3 1/2 there is a spring that needs to be changed.
