I just bought a Savage in 325wsm any one recomend a good bullet weight?
I am trying to mount a Burris scope 3x9x40 BP on my 325 wsm ( SAVAGE ) and i do not know how many inches high do i have to sight at a 100yds so that the bullet is dead on using the 200,300,400,500 and 600 yard reticle. Any comments are welcome

You need to know your weight and ballistic coeficiency of the bulletplus velocity and plug it into ballistic program. Or just sight in at 200yrds. with the cross hair.

Contact Burris and ask them. You should either sight in at 100 yds... or at 200 yds... your choice... and they will give you the corrections for the points of impact at the higher ranges corresponding to the hash marks below the cross hairs(200/300/400/500 yds). The corrections are tyically minor.

In a gun review in a popular mag......all they could get to shoot well were 220gr bullets. Personally I'd stick to either 200 or 220gr, I think why shoot 180gr if you bought a .325 WSM?unless for a particular hunt, that you really need the extra speed, but my goto bullet choice would be either 200 or 220 depending what shot best from the rifle.
