Default Seeking advice on gun safes - Amsec BFX6030 vs Liberty Presidential

Hello everyone,

I'm in the market for a new gun safe and I'm considering the Amsec BFX6030 and the Liberty Presidential. I was hoping to get some advice from those who have experience with either of these safes.

My main concerns are security and capacity. I want to make sure that my firearms are protected from theft and fire, and I also want to make sure that I have enough space to store my entire collection.

I've done some research on both safes and they both seem to have good reputations for security and durability. The Amsec BFX6030 has a UL RSC rating and features a 1/2" steel plate door, while the Liberty Presidential has a UL RSC-I rating and features a 5" composite door.

In terms of capacity, the Amsec BFX6030 can hold up to 24 long guns, while the Liberty Presidential can hold up to 41 long guns.

I'm leaning towards the Liberty Presidential 25 because of its larger capacity, but I'm still not sure if it's worth the extra cost compared to the Amsec BFX6030.

So, I'm hoping to hear from anyone who has experience with either of these safes. What do you like or dislike about them? Have you had any issues with security or capacity? Would you recommend one over the other? Have you guys bought from them?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Buy the larger safe, you would be surprised how guns multiply. I now have 3 more guns in my safe that it was made for.

Get the biggest you can.

They never hold what they say they will. And somehow guns seem to multiply over the years

What I mean is only you know what is best for your purpose, buying what others tell you to buy can be an expensive mistake.

I have thought about what you said and I have made the decision to buy the Winchester ranger 66, I appreciate your help for your suggestions and your advice even though it seemed very little actually helped a lot.
