i have an Ithaca slug gun. it's light, short and fast to bring up to the shoulder. but it KICKS like a mule and I'm not very good with it. i just put a rifled barrel on my Mossberg 835 turkey gunand slapped a recoil pad over the stock. i not only can shoot under 2" groups at 100 yards but i can follow through with my shots which is nice. it is a little heavier and longer than the Ithaca but it is 10x more pleasurable to shoot even with 3" mags. boys i think I'm in love!

Brownings 4 ever !!!!!!!!!!! Never jams, never fails, never stops. The one I shoot has never done any of the ones mention above. Over 20,000 shells shot through it. It an "86" Browning 12 gauge A-5.

Finally one of my American friends that was not brain washed by Sports Afield, Jack Oconnor don,t get me wrong he was a great person but he even admitted the 7mm was a better bullet

Model 30s in 30.06 has done it all over 3000+ through it and still shoots 3/4" groups, it will still eject a empty cartridge across a room.Never failed
I have always wanted to try it on a grizzly, with a 165 gr nosler at 2900 fps< I am pretty sure it would get job done.

I would trade all my rifles in to purchase a Remington 700 LSS Mountain Rifle in .30-06, when I worked at Dicks Sporting Goods I sold a few and the reviews from the owners were awesome add to that it just felt good to me! Proven name along with a a proven caliber!

make mine a weatherby ultra ltweight in 06 for the shorter barrel
workes just fine for me shoots under an inch at 200yrds with sierra gamekings

Only one gun Remington 870 but if you let me have another I would add a T/C Encore.

Ouch. Hurts just thinking about it. I'd have to cheat and say .308 BLR for rifle and Ithaca Model 37 Featherlight for shotgun.
