RE: hello im stephen and im looking for a 243
We need some more details. How much money you want to spend on a rifle, on the scope, etc. Do you want a semi-auto, pump, lever action, bolt action, etc.
I'd suggest: Browning A-Bolt Tikka T3 |
RE: hello im stephen and im looking for a 243
do you need a youth model or a full size rifle, sorry if this sound like a bad question, but some kids are still small at this age,I still use my daughters rem.model 700 youth,it's bigger than my ruger compact, and every bit as accurate.Give us more info on what kind you could use, bolt, pump, auto,or lever action this would make it easier for better suggestions.and also there are single shots in 243.Hope this helps.

A guns thatare best for the money, IMO,are the Remington rifles.
I got a Remington 673 for $635, it's higher-end, but dang, that rifle is accurate! Remington 700's are cheaper (can be, anyway, depending on which "sub-model" you get), and more common. If money is an issue, a Remington 700 SPS, which has a composite stock, is cheaper. Josiah |

First you made a good choice on caliber.. I would suggest that you get a shorter barrell/stock to make sure it fits you well and is easy to handle. Ruger makes a good Compact MK77 that would be perfect for you.. Or you might also look at a Remington Model 7.
