the WSM only carry 3 in one clip???
for browning??
Yes, they are fat little cartridges. Most magnum cartridges will only hold three in the magazine and one in the chamber.
Remember you only need one. Sometimes two.
Not so for a Browning A-Bolt in .300 WSM. Indeed, three go in the magazine... but when I put one in the chamber I cannot lock the hinge plate closed if I also have three in the magazine.

3+1 is plenty, even 2+1 is adequate.

I really don't think you need 4+1 or 5+1

I put two in magazine and one in chamber in the Remington model 700xcr in 270wsm. It only takes one shot.

I'd get either the 270 WSM or the 300 Win Mag because the 300 WSM isn't much better than a normal 300 Win Mag. It really depends on how far away you shoot things from and what you hunt.

Hey I'm thinking about getting Browning 7mm wsm Boss! Played with it in the store, and I've shot a similar round...
I really liked the way it handles, and really want to get it.
So I need a professional opinion, someone who's handled it before!!!
Oh, someone told me that it will take down anything in North America!!!

It's hard to beat the two old standbys.. the 7mm Rem Mag and the 300 Win Mag, shells are available just about anywhere on the planet, brass is plentiful, lots of variety in loaded factory ammunition and a great range of bullet weights.. BOTH will kill anything you hit in the right spot with one shot, period... each and everyone of the others mentioned are great rounds, each has something special about themselves..each is more than capable of killing anyting you hit with one...maybe to the ole' timers "familiarity" may come into play, availabilty of casings and loaded factory shells can and is a problem in some areas..YOUFORGOTto mention the 7mm and 300 SAUM's, both of which are also big time bangers.. what's nice about most of the other's you mentioned is the use of the short actions, doesn'tseem like much until you startwalking for 5days and50 miles.. so, it all comes to personal choice and you can argue that until yourfingers are tired of typing... BOTTOM LINE IS, pick one you'd like to get hit with, yeah, NONE...they will all work justfine!!
