Taurus PT1911
 

I hear these new Taurus 1911's are very decent shooters. They look nice too. Anyone have one and care to give your opinion? I was leaning towards a Springfield loaded, but the PT is $300 less and has a few extra features. I'm sure the Springfield will hold it's value better though.

Here is how mine shoots right out of the box. Load was some old 230 gr. cast bullets. My experience withSpringfieldshas beenvery UNimpressive.




IMHO there isn't a 1911 pistol on the market that can touch the PT-1911 for thequality and price. But as I urge people, don't take my word for it. Go look at one yourself. Built like a watch and smooth as glass.
