REMINGTON MODEL 760 CARBINE 308 WIN
 

Remington pump model 760Carbine. Serial number indicates date of manufacture 1981.The last year they were built. Very hard to find one in this condition much less a carbine in 308 win. The bluing is superberb. An excellent shooter. I will leave the solid one piece base on the rifle. Has a decelerator pad. If interested I can send more pictures via e-mail.

I wish... Just made a deal with my cousin to buy 2 rifles from him. I have always liked the pump action rifles. I think if Remington would make a 7615 in .308 win I would jump all over it. Right now it is only available in .223. In case you're not familiar with that one it is very similar to the 7600, but accepts AR-15 magazine

UPDATE ON RIFLE:

THE SERIAL NUMBER ON THIS RIFLE IS NOT 1981 AS PREVIOUSLY STATED. I CALLED REMINGTON AND GOT IT DIRECTLY FROM THE HORSES MOUTH. THIS IS A 1978 MODEL.

IN ADDITION I WOULD WANT TO LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT THIS RIFLE IS NOT IN ORIGINAL CONDITION. THE SLING HOLDER STUD. LOCATED ON THE BUTT STOCKHAD BEEN INSTALLED INCORRECTLY. TO FAR FORWARD OF THE RECOIL PAD. LUCKILY IT WAS ONLY INSTALLED AS FAR AS THE THREADS AND NOT RECESSED. ONLY A SMALL THREAD HOLE IS THERE. IT COULD EASILY BE FILLED WITH COLORED EPOXY. I REMOVED ANDINSTALLED THE STUD CORRECTLY.

LASTLY THE LENGTH OF PULL ON THIS RIFLE IS 13 1/4".

ALL IN ALL EVERYTHING ELSE ON THIS RIFLE IS SUPERB AS PREVIOUSLY STATED.

looking for a remington 760 carbine. 308 is the caliber I would like, but 30-06 or 270 would be fine.
