Budget item Reply( ITS S GOOD DEAL IMO)

I recently received the REM 700 CDL SF. Its beautiful. Santa paid 800 with taxes. I got it without the crooked bullet. I went with a 7MM. 50 dollar rebate. Gun was 750 all together from &Grice# in Clear%ield.I was looking at the new federal vital shock bullets today at wallyworld $45. Prices are just up on everything. ITs a shame. REM 700 is a great shooter, i think that all i will buy. got two so i probably wont get another one for awhile. 7mm08 & 7MM. I will try to get a smaller caliber for foxes 22-250 maybe? I hope santa brings me a new toyota tacoma this year

You would be better off asking for a reloading press and dies for Christmas next year. If you are like I was, I had nice guns, but I couldn't afford to feed them. Since I started reloading, I am amazed at how much I can afford to shoot. I actually cut my cost per shot by $1.25 each pull of the trigger.

I'll give another vote for reloading. For my .338 Lapua, factory ammo from Black Hills, or Dakota Arms is between 80-100 a box. I can hand load from right about 18-23 a box, depending on where I got my components.

I think the crooked bullet was just the picture. Congrats on the new rifles.

I think the crooked bullet gives it a pioneer kind of hand carved look.

I would carve a ten point buck head on the buttstock if I owned It and maybe use 2 brass tacks for deer eyes;)
