After market composite stock for CZ 527 American?
..does anyone make one? I called HS, B&C and CZ themselves and no one makes a composite stock for a 527 American.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

RE: After market composite stock for CZ 527 American?
First mod I had done is the bolt handle. Sent it off to James Calhoon http://www.jamescalhoon.com/ and he milled down the bolt so it will clear the ocular lens of a scope that is mounted on Med rings. (Rifle came with High rings for this reason).
Second mod is the magazine. Sent the trigger guard/magazine well, magazine release and one magazine to Roy Bertalotto http://www.rvbprecision.com/articles...ine-conversion and he milled down one magazine and the trigger guard to allow a shortened magazine to fit nearly flush. Most folks won't purchase a 527 because of the magazine protrusion. The price you pay to have a nearly flush mag is a 3 round mag vice 5 round HOWEVER, the standard 5 round mag (which is shown in the second pic) will still work.
Before:
After: (and a Double Coyotee call & 5 round mag)
I have a VX-III 4.5-14x40mm scope coming in a few weeks and then I'm sending the whole rifle off to get dipped in Mossy Oak Brush.
I shall call it........"THE SLAYER"

I believe H-S makes the synthetic for the factory varminter model. The varminterbarrel contour is slightly heavier than the american,so I know it would fit but you will have a free floated barrel with plenty of clearence.
Here are a couple of my 527's, the American is a 221 Fireball and the Kevlar is a 204 Ruger. I have not had the problems associated with the bolt hitting my scopes. It's certainlygoing to be dependant on the scope you are choosing to use. I used a set of medium Leupold ringsto mount the Nikon Monarch 5.5x16.5 and the supplied factory rings for the 6x18x50 Swarovski. On the magazine issue, I dont have a problem with the 5 round protruding.
The 527's are dandy walking varminters and Iam sure you'llenjoy yours
