Browning Gold Hunter

I stopped by Gander Mountain today to look around. I knew they were having a gun sale and you never know. I found a like new Browning Gold Hunter in synthetic with a 26 inch barrel. always wanted to try one of these for waterfowl, but usually out of my comfort range with price. Walked out with this one for $599. theres not a mark on it, not even any wear marks from loading shells.

what chokes are you guys using for duck hunting?

Congrats! I have the same gun 28" barrel, and I love it. The only semi I've shot that I liked more was the SBII. I shoot a modified choke with Blackcloud for ducks and geese.

Browning gold is what I use for duck hunting. I use modified choke for kent fast steel #2.

I've got a Gold Hunter in 20ga. Nice shotgun, though I don't use it. I prefer my older Browning B-80 in 20gato hunt with or a .410 as of late. You should get years of good service out of it though it's a solidly built gun.
