Bell & Carlson Medalist or HS Precision

Does anybody who has owned both have an opinion with regards to how they compare to eachother?

Medalist feels better in my opinion but is a tad heavier then the H&S. It has moulded in checkering and a bedding block that extends the full length of the stock..ending in the cheekpiece area.

It is a very robust stock and feels better in my hands then does the HS precision which feels IMHO like a club. You will most likely be better off skim bedding the blocks..if you do this you wont' have to torque the stock bolts. I had a 60's rem 700 SA as the basis of a custom that went into one of these and it was not a snug fit but it wasn't snug in an HS either. I had 2 choices and I went with the B&C.
