Other than the Rugers, are there any other bolt actions that you do not have to push the safety off before opening the bolt for unloading?

ANY that have aModel 70-Winchester"three- position" typesafety can be opened with the safety still "on" in the middle position. Same with the Model 98 Mauser and 1903 Springfiled, which both have safeties on the top of the bolt shroudthat rotate throuigh 90-degrees. They can beopened by leaving the saftey in the "up" position.The strikeris still locked away from the sear,but the bolt will open.

I can open the bolt on my 700PSS with the safety on.

The newer Savage rifles also have their version of a three position safety.

my mossberg 100atr will open the bolt with the safty on.
