muzzlebreak question

I am new to the forum and I know if anybody can answer my question you guys can. I just bought a new Winchester Model 70 300 ultra mag and I am going to have a muzzlebreak put on it. I was wondering if a muzzlebreak would affect the ballistics at all. Thanks for your Help.

You won't see any significant change in ballistics but the noise factor will rise dramatically.
