I used the old 3-piece rods for years until I finally broke down and bought a Dewey. That's all I use anymore.

I like the Dowey, but I think any 1 piece rod will do just fine. Stay away from the 3 piece rods.

I use the Tipton carbon fiber rod. It is a little pricey but well worth it imo.

I use the Tipton carbon fiber cleaning rods as well. No complaints here!

I use Dewey as well and never any problems. Santa brought me a Tipton Carbon Fibre rod this year. I like but to new to say I like it better then the Dewey.

I always use bore guides (Dewey and Boretech).

I also use a Tipton carbonfiber rod... a little more expensive but worth it with not having the worries as with others, should last a life time.
