Which rifle shall I get?

Hey from Australia, This is my First post and Im about to start hunting again in 6 or so years. Im wanting to get a .22 probably and i want to know which rifle is better quality, more accurate etc. A CZ 452 or a Browning T-Bolt?

Thanks for the help

I haven't tried the new browning t-bolt, but I would expect it to be a great rifle. The CZ .22s are very accurate and well-functioning rifles and I know for sure that would be a good route to take.

I took a look at the T-bolt awhile back and liked it, but it is a bit pricy for a rimfire. I don't know anything about the CZ's other than I'm not real fond of the CZ centerfires. You could also consider a Savage Mark II series. They are well built, affordable and VERY accurate. My brother has one and it'll shoot one hole 1/2" groups at 50 yards with just about every type of ammo he feeds it.

Something to consider.

Mike

The Savage mark II is a great rifle...I do not know about any of the others.

I have not handled the new T-bolts. The old T-bolt's were nice looking, and I handled a couple, but never shot one. I went with the Kimber's. I did buy a CZ452 in LH in 22LR. I gave the rifle to my friend's son. He shoots it, and likes it alot. The only thing I did not like about it was the magazine. If you can afford the Kimber then get one. If not then the CZ would do great. I also like the older Remington 541-T, but it also had a plastic magazine. I never understood that. Tom.

I haven't fired the new T-bolts, but the CZ's are usually quite accurate. Between the those rifles, I'd go with a CZ.
