Remington 700 trigger pull?

I am considering adjusting my own trigger pull and found this article. Does this sound correct to everyone?

Any input would help. And I know it's not expensive to have done but I really would like to do it myself.

Thank You.

Mike

There are also some good after market triggers out there too, I put a Trigger Basix on my rifle and it was easy to adjust to where I like, 2 lbs.

No need to buy an aftermarket trigger for a Remington 700. They are one of the best factory triggers out there. GRANTED, out of the box, they might be a little heavy, but they come like that for liability reasons. It is an easily adjusted trigger, that is capable of being taken down safely to at least 2 lbs. Though, I do recommend, if you are going less than 3 lb trigger pull, to have a gunsmith do the adjustment so that the pull length and creep are properly taken down too.

Good luck to you.
