Repainting HS stock...what color?
 

I'm looking for feedback/opinions on what color to repaint my HS precision stock. The rifle is a custom with teflon coated action-scope rings, matte black scope along with bead blasted stainless barrel. Which paint job would look best? Blackw/grey web, olive w/black web, grey w/black web, geen camo(olive and brown camo), sand, spruce w/black web? All suggestions are greatly appreciated, thanks.

thats a nice paint shop only worrys me whas that going to do with light reflecting off of the silver

I forgot to note that HS Precisionis repainting the stock for me. Color schemescan only be HSoptions, no McMillan colors, thanks.

HS actually has a black w/red webbing also. Think that would be too much?

how about plain black lol it is a rifle not your gun i think any schime you pick will be ok just stay away frm white pink and anything refeltive

I like tan and black webbing. I know it's common as hell but I still like it.

The stock was actually black before so I'm looking at something different. I have a M70 in another HS stock which is grey w/black. The tough thing is not ever seeing most of these colors in person. I'm leaning towards grey w/black, spruce w/black web, or tan w/black. I've never seen spruce up close so I'm leary of it.

Not the best pic, but maybe it'll come through well enough to give you the idea. This is one I did myself in a light tan with both black and white webbing spray, then overcoated with amatte clear coat. I really like how it turned out.

Very nice riflespa and cj. Itlooks likeblack w/grey and spruce w/black have been most noted in this thread. I want something different and black w/grey is extremely common. Spruce w/ black is very nice but it's also a standard color with HS.HS doesn'tofferit but theyaregoing to do a black w/spruce webbing for me. Hopefully the paint job comes out very nice, thanks again guys for all the input.

olive/black would be my prefernce on any synthetic stocked gun

I have a friend who had anther friend build him a 257 roberts. He asked him what color he wanted it, to which my friend replied that he didn't care.
He's been shooting deer with a yellow rifle with flowers on it for10 years now.:D
