New project?

I'm thinking of a new project in the near future (after get done with my wildcat) and want to hear yall's input.
I have had to work on puma rifles and they're pretty rough on inside( tooling marks,etc),and am thinking about giving them competition. Picture a ruger 96/44 or a 99/44 converted (properly),to my fav handgun cartridge-.454 casull. What do yall think?

I am not a fan of the ruger lever??? Dunno why, I like levers...
