RE: 220 swift-overkill?

I ahvea 204 Ruger i use for coyote but ive never shot one with it. Ive shot 2 during turkey season at about 30 yards with 3.5in turkey loads and 1 during bear season at about 60 yards with a 300 WSM. I would be getting about tehs ame size groups as DANTHE HUNTER but i dont have a good bench setup. I use a table with a few pieces of 4x4 posts to rest the rifle on. Im shooting a CZ 527 American with a BSA 6-18 power scope. I havnt had the money to do anythign to amke it more accurate yet but im working on saving the money. This is 10 shots at 200 yards.

Yea I know I should have but I was working on the load and just keep shooting to verify it. I have since adjusted it.That was during the spring. That setup is coyote death machine.

As a kid growing up my dad bought just about ever caliber of gun at some point from the 220 swift up to the 308 and 30-06. We would always sight in the guns at 3/4" piece of steel at 100 yards. The most amazing thing happened when you fired that 220 at the steel. If went completly thru it (and was the only one that would go thru) Not only that but the metal was peeled back on both the frount and back of the plate as if the bullet came out both the back and frount of the metal. It is an amazing little round..
