Rem Choke?

Rem Choke?
What exactly is a Rem Choke? I am looking at possibly purchasing a new remington barrel but when I look at cabelas or bass pro all it says is 26" rem choke. What exactly is this? Sorry for the stupid ? fellas. Thanks!

Remchoke is simply Remington's brand of choke tube. Any Remchoke-threaded choke tube will fit that barrel.
The 870, 1100, and 1187 all use Remchoke choke tubes. Some other Remington shotguns use "pro" or "Spartan" choke tubes.
