Sako 85 in RUM is not going to happen. Now if I happen to come across a Sako 75 in pristine condition and chambered in300 RUM that would make it my first RUM. I have yet to speak to anyone that hasn't had great results with that one.

RE: Sako 85 in .300 RUM
Remember when they discontinued the 300RUM and STW about the time I bought yours? You could pick up one for 750 dollars in stainless syn all over gunbroker. I have searching for the last 2 years for a 75 in RUM at those prices, and haven't seen em since. After that, they both started selling for 1K. Should have jumped on the deals then.
Guy that sold me the STW had about 1/2 dozen NIB Rums both 7 and 300 . Hindsight is 20/20. That is the only action I will consider a Rum in anyway..It comes with a floorplate and their floorplate system is super as is the feeding.

I found a wood stocked 75 in .300 RUM. It is new in box. What would be a good price. The dealer is asking $900.
