Savage has a nice selection of lefties too. You could also try a pump action.

Here are some cartridge choices in LH versions of my favorite setup:

If youenter "700" intheir search button, you'll come up with more stuff than you can look at, but you'll also get all the Remingtons they've got.

New add - Browning, Remington &Tikka for LH'd bolts. I recentlywas viewing ashooting sportcatalogue,Tikka appears to be offering the most Lh'd choices in their T3 lineup.

Unlike years ago when only a few manufacturers offered left hand bolt rifles, today you have a much wider selection. As stated, you can get a lefty in Ruger, Browning, Savage, Remington and others in the chamberings you mention. You can also go the single shot route from T/C, Ruger #1, H&R, etc. It all depends on how much you want to spend. My lefties are from Savage, Browning and Remington. I've owned Rugers too.
For a basic down to earth hunting rifle that is accurate and reliable, its hard to beat the Savage 111FL in the 30-06 or 270. I go with the '06 is I could only get one.

I am a left handed shooter and I love my Savage rifles. I also have a Browning ABolt in lefty as well. Love that one too. I have a Remington Model 760 in righthand, but had the safety switched. Ejecting across my face when I pump has not been a problem. I kind of wish I could find a left handed pump gun though. Shotguns are a bit more difficult to find, however, I have a Mossberg (right handed)as a beater gun (love the top tang safety - where the safety should be on ALL guns) and have a Benelli SBEII in lefty on order. I am planning on getting an Encore next. There are many options out there for we southpaw shooters. Look around. My sugggestion would be Savage or Browning although many manufacturers make them. I think I may want to try a Tikka out.
