Rifle Sights

When I got my rifle I had a scope put on it, took the rifle sights off andplugged where they were. Could taking these sights off and plugging the holes or putting the sights back on throw off any kind of accuracy? Didn'tknow if avery small detail like this would affect my rifle or not. Sorry if this is a dumb question. Any help is appreciated.

Not that I can see. Maybe, possibly, taking the front sight off could effect something. If at all it would just mean it might prefer a different load now. I don't think they weigh enough to make a difference though.

Rear sight shouldn't effect anything at all.

I like to leave the sights on. You never know when you could need them. Fewer and fewer bolt-actions are even made with iron sights.

I would say, no, it would not make any noticeable difference in accuracy.
