IMO the remington makes a much better quality gun. i own both of them so i can truly compare and while neither has ever jammed or not performed well, i would just rather have the remington.

They are both pretty much the same with minor difference. Both have great track records and the military uses both of them.

Go with the one YOU like. Go somewhere and handle both of them and see which you prefer.

I sort of like mossbergs a little better. You get more chokes with the mossy as well.

Remingtons usually cost a bit more, but they have a few features mossbergs don't.
