Mossberg barrel for my 870

I have a Remington 870 express with regular barrel and a smoothbore slug barrel. Slug barrel shoots great out to 50 yards or so but thats it. Looking to get about a 125 yards. Remingtons rifled barrel with scope mount is $190 and Hastings is $280. Mossbergs is $170 with a Bushnell scope mounted bore sighted. Is it worth it ? And are they accurate enough to get this distance?

Mossberg barrels are good. I wouldnt expect too much out of the scope though.

The Mossberg barrel will probably be capable of the range you want, IF you find the right ammo for it. That will be a matter of testing several types.....
