Marlin Question

RE: Marlin Question
this isstrange, mainly because i don't shop at walmart to begin with, i have long heard the "walmart" specific guns issue and never really knew if it was true or not, but when a buyer as big as walmart comes in, they can pretty much make the supplier, cut cost and quality. but since i never shop there it doesn't affect me, at least i didn't think it did. the other day i went to a local tire dealer and told him I'd like a set of Michelin's tires just like i was running, he said he does not carry that tire and that he could not even get it. when i asked why he told me it was a "walmart" tire well i got a little irate and told the guy i knew the tires did not come from walmart, to which he replies well whoever put those tires on got them at walmart or sams one,[:-]whoops forgot that i had gotten them at sams, but since then i have had two other tire dealers assure me that they cannot get the tire because it is a "walmart" tire, i have had good service out of them but i'll be going to an independent dealer that not only can but"will" rotate/balance my tires (caught wally world twice not performing reqested work) and can also do front-end alignments, which is why i got away from wally world to begin with[:@]
