UPDATE:

Stopped bye the respected gun shop I know while deer hunting in MI, hoping they could take care of my rifle while I was hunting with my shotgun. They said they wouldn't do it, citing liability issues. I guess they were not as good of a gun shop as I thought.

For those who did it themselves; how did you determine the final pull weight? I have a couple small fish pull-scales that may work. I will call another place or 2, but if the place I went to wouldn't do it, then I doubt many places around me will.
