I've looked at the Marlin,Savage and the Ruger 77/17. Of the three the Ruger was the most expensive and the best quality. The Savage looked nice and workmanship was very good.I only looked at the one Marlin. I was very disappointed in the workmanship. The trigger guard wasn't fitted well, there was bluing missing from the bolt handle. It just wasn't up to Marlin's quality. If and when I decide to get one it will be the Ruger, just because.
Soark, I can't handle this. Twice in one week you mention getting a Ruger. It seizes to amaze me.I knew you would come around, just not this soon.LOL.... Ruger Redhawk
