Non-toxic shot

Ok, since my older 870 cant shoot steel shot I am looking for some other Non-toxic shot alternatives. Can anyone suggest a shell for goose and duck in 12ga. 2 3/4"

Thanks

First of all, why can't it shoot steel?
I used an older wingmaster with a fixed modified choke with steel for several years with no harm.

Lots of choices . Bismuth is a direct replacment for lead and can be used in about any shotgun made since the 30s safely. There is also a polimer tungston shot that can be used in"lead" bbls . Both are pricey at best. Briman is a mostly right if you stay in shot sizes of B or smaller and have a mod. or imp cyl. you shouldnt have a problem . A few years ago about the sane time as the Remington bbl settlement all the US manif. listed safe shot sizes and models w/sn lots that could not be used with steel shot . You ought to be able to get a steel bbl or a rem choke for a 100 or less .

ive shot steel shot through my 78 year old Monkey wards single shot my grand dad left me when he passed away. He also shot a bit of steel through it too after lead shot became illegal for waterfowl.
