This is a good example of what my T3 Lite 270 WSM shoots like. I have tried 4 different factory loads in 130-140 gr bullets and 2 different scopes. I stuck it in the safe and moved on to newer toys.

Ouch
I wonder if you can send it back to Tikka to have that fixed. Aren't they guaranteed to shoot 1" or better?

I have it in 30-06 and it is a sweet gun...after I bought it at first I was a little disappointed with the plastic, but it is a quality gun, smooth bolt, and not too bad looking to boot

I've messed with 2 tikkas T3's. A 270 that was 5/8 or 3/4 but a 270 isn't my style so I passed it on to one of my project managers. (was going to turn it into a 7 x 57 anyway) and the current 338 fed. The 338 is a 1/2 inch gun. It seems to like my "quick cleaning" method at the range, I don't dare do a really good cleaning on it, takes about 40 rounds to get it right.

My Savage 10FP (.308) shoots like that when I use Winchester White Box ammo. I throw Federal Premium in it and it's a sub moa rifle. You just need to find ammo that it likes...FEDERAL PREMIUM!!!

Welcome to the 300 wsm club! I just got a Remington 700 in 300 wsm and switched out the beautiful wooden stock for a SPS stock for hunting next week. May put the wooden stock back on for target shooting after deer season is over. Put a Rifle Basix adjustable trigger on it, set at 3 lbs.

If you want to do target shooting, 300 wsm is a nice round. You may want to consider reloading if you do, as ammo is not as easy to find as other calibers, and relaoding saves a lot of money. If you are only shoooting acouple of dozen rounds allyear for hunting, then store ammo is not that much more a year.

Having the punch of a magnum, with the recoil of a 30.06 is a nice feature of the 300 wsm. Shot 18 rounds last weekend. Would not have been able to shoot that many rounds with a 300 rem mag!

Enjoy your Tikka!

I only shoot a few boxes of ammo a year out of my hunting rifle so i dont think it would be worth getting into reloading. My local gunshop gets me ammo for really cheap because i buy so much from him. Actually he gets me everything really cheap. I got a Nikon Buckmasters scope for $125. Its a 3x-9x silver scope normally sold for $199.99. I also got some Winchester XP3 ammo for it that he sells for $52.99 for $30.
