charles daly shotgun

I just found a charles daly field hunter 12 ga. semi-auto with a black sythetic stock at wal-mart for 300. Do any of you have this gun or know anything about them. They have a lifetime repair policy on their guns. Thanks for the help

Charles Daly is not a Manufacturer, they are an importer.....and some of their products are really sound and some are not.

Years ago they imported over/unders fro Miruku in Japan.....and they had the best gun bargain a going. Today, they're trying to duplicate that.....but at your risk. I'd be looking for a tried and true Remington 1100 or 11-87

I'm sure someone will speak up and tell you "it's the greatest gun ever made!", but I'd be wary of the CD. I doubt it would ever hold up like the 1187 or Beretta that Walmart sells as well. I think it's generally wise to avoid cheap automatics.
