RE: Best gun
Same here, I have a well used (beatin) Remington 870 wingmaster,my dad won in a mechanic competition of some sort in the70's. He used it for everything with wings even though it came with the 30" barrel full choke and shoots the 2-3/4 only. It will never leave the family.

RE: Best gun
There's nothing wrong with those Bushnell Scopechief IV's. I have one, a 1.5X-4.5X, on that Heym barrel set with the '06 barrel. I especially like that Command Post reticle! |
RE: Best gun
I agree savagescout i have the same 870 wingmaster with full choke barrel. Right now im getting the barrel worked on . Its been shot so many times you can drop a dime right through it . With that said it is the best shot gun ive ever owned .And of course i have my trusty ohhhhh winchester 270 .

RE: Best gun
Mine would be a Browning Double auto that my grandfather gave me when he died. I have only shot it twice if fear of scratching it or something. But that my gun that will never be for sale.

RE: Best gun
Mine is an old Marlin 336 30-30 they my dad bought new in 59. It is the only rifle he ever owned and since he died about 4 months ago it is mine now. It has been hauled around and dropped down the side of a mountain once and never has failed once. It still has the original Bushnell Banner scope my dad installed on it when he bought it. There are a lot better scopes now but I will never change the gun.
