Tikka T3 ?
 

Has anyone owned or used the Tikka T3 rifles and if sowhatare your thoughts about them? I am looking at one in 308 cal that looks really nicewith beautiful wood stock for$625 new.

You'll likely get mostly positive responses on here regarding the Tikka. I've had two, but they have been traded. They generally shoot well and cycle good. Do a search here for more specifics.

very nice rifle! i have the syn. stock. in the 22-250. have had no problems with this gun. the action is very smooth (my ruger doesn't work as smooth as the tikka)

Can't beat them for performance. I've got one in 7mm rem mag and it shoots "lights out". Trigger is awesome, action is great. I have a feeling tha my next couple of rifles will be the same make.

Well I just took the Tikka plunge last and and so far I am not impressed with it. I have only had one session with the rifle, this is with Federal Premium 130 gr Barnes TSX and the jury is still out. All I can say with this particular rifle is that the bedding most likely is bad as it shoots differently with different holds.
