I was at the local Bass Pro store today and decided to pick up a Leupold VX-1 scope after hearing so many rave reviews about them. The last two years I haven't hunted, so I thought I would get another rifle as well. I've heard some great things about the Mossberg ATR 100 and happened to see one in the local Walmart for $250. Came close to picking it up but decided to wait a few days and try and get all the information I could about it's quality. Somewhere along reading all the reviews, I noticed the 4x4. Haven't found much information about it, but from what I've read, it's a nice rifle. Now I'm stuck between these two rifles and a hard place. From looking around online, it seems the price for the Black SYN 4x4 is $325 give or take. Let me know which one you guys would prefer and the prices for the 4x4 if you have saw them local. I haven't seen one, but will try and find a shop that has one. Thanks!

I'm still debating on whether or not to get the ATR 100. However, the thought come to mind to call my ex-girlfriend and ask to call her local Walmart to see if they had any Remington 700 ADLs left in stock. Apparently, they have a 700 ADL 30.06 in stock, so I am thinking about making the hour drive tomorrow and picking it up. She said the price was $350, going to get the model confirmed before I make the drive, but I was hoping they were marked as low as from what I've read. Heard people getting them for $325 and some as low as $275 plus the $30 rebate from Remington. My luck, it's either a 710 or 770, but who knows...

I bought a 4x4 a couple weeks ago and so far am pleased with it.
