The .300 Win Mag is more than adequate for moose. But if you're looking to get something bigger because of bears, get something way bigger. Start with the .375 H&H (one of the all-time classic cartridges), and go up from there. A .416 Rigby would be nice... <img src=icon_smile_blackeye.gif border=0 align=middle>

Go with the 375 H&H Mag. If you ever decide to hunt Africa you already have the gun. Good luck.

if you see grizzlies on a regular basis and you already have a 300win mag i would personally go with 375H&Hmag. just for the piece of mind of having that big slug.
