Stoeger .410 condor o/u

Anybody out there use the .410 Stoeger Condor o/u. I was thinking about getting one with full choke on both barrels for grouseand hare hunting. I've gone through some of the other forums and have seen thepros and cons with the automatic safety, but that was about it for problems. Anybodyelse have any problems with theirs. Also has anyone fired slugs out of it. The one I'm thinking about buying has full choke on both barrels and I know that it is recommended that you don't fire slugs out of a full choke.

I would get a 20 gauge instead. It is cheaper to shoot and a better choice unless you are a expert shot. A friend of mine has a 20 gauge that shoots really good.

RE: Stoeger .410 condor o/u

I have a 20 gauge pump that I used to use, but I switched over to the .410 because it was lighter andI made cleaner shots. Iused to usea .22 caliber but my vision is nto what it used to be and I miss most of the time. With the .410 I end up getting the grouse with a good clean shot at close range as they are trying to run away through the woods. During the late hunt in December they are up the the birch trees in the evening budding in the branches. I don't like blasting them with too many pellets if I can help it.
