just got my S&W 9mm
and you guys were right who saidthe trigger pull is pretty tough, i think its like 9 pounds i beleive, something like that. i mean i pulled it a little in the store, but couldnt really feel how tough it was until i pulled it back a fews times after buying it and really investigating. i gues it could be good safety wise. Im anxious to get to the range to try it out. someone on here told mei couldlosen it a little, but i dont feel comfortable doing it myself, so i may ask a gun smith to losen it a little. this gun is basically a glock - atleast look wise. lol.
will a gun smith be able to losen it up a little? or is it a big ol procedure that isnt really worth it? thanks |
RE: just got my S&W 9mm
A good smith will be able to slick it up and reduce poundage somewhat but it's design is nature of the beast in respect of how much lighter it can be and still have 100% relibility. If you really want the finest dao trigger pull of all time, check out para ordnance LDA series. They usually average between 5.5-6.5 pounds DOUBLE ACTION! I have a couple of them and rely on them with my life and loved 1s lives-that's how much I like them and I could have anything to carry for defense.

Are you talking about the S&W SW/VE ? If so I bought one as well in a 40. Has a long, heavy pull.
