So, what is the question? Win 70 = +. 7 Rem Mag = +. End of story.

RE: WIN MOD 70A 7MM REM MAG PASS OR FAIL

The winchester model 70 is so well known and loved it's a cult classic when in pre 64 form. Model 70s are excellent rifles, have simplist most easily adjustable trigger, and I've never seen a bad 1 notwithstanding examples of abuse. The 7mm remington magnum is perhaps the most versaitle ideal cartridge in ever invented for hunting in north america. I'm stating this in view of the .300 winchester magnum will accept a wider range of bullets however the 300 seems to be just above the recoil level of comfortable shooting with a lot of hunters and .30 caliber bullets ain't needed when hunting deer. If I need more gun than a 7mm mag,I'll go to a .338 win mag or other similar cartridge.
