How do I change the bead sight on my shotgun?
 

I've got a benelli nova and would like to swap the front bead sight for another. How do I take the one off...does it screw off, or is it permanent?

dont know about that gun. some guns have beads that are press fitted on and are permanant. others will unscrew...take a look and see if you cant tell.

they make some that pop right on the rib and can be put directly behind your factory bead...always an option...

I just looked at mine. I'm at a loss. It does indeed look permanent. However, I can't imagine that they would put one on that's permanent.

I'm pretty sure the bead screws off but you will need a specialized bead removal/installation tool to do it properly without damaging it.
