Default Slugs for choke tubes . . .

It's been a (long) while since I've posted here, so if this question has been answered beofre, I didn't see it . .. I've got a Remington M1100 with a Remchoke 21" barrel on it. I've also got a Remington rifled choke tube for it. Which slugs seem to fly the best out of a choke tube? Lightfield Hybreds, the new Remington Buckhammers, or another slug? I've tried the Remington Copper Solids, but they keyholed, so I figure that most of the sabot slugs will do the same.

I once had one of those Sabot Slug Rem Choke... and absolutely nothing shot good out of them. My experience. Good luck.

I would stick to the Foster style slugs when using a screw-in rifled choke tube.

Good Luck.

With a smooth bore and choke, you can't go wrong with Brennecke foster-type slugs.
