RE: Who makes good .270 's?
wide eyes..
you do want a gun that fits good to you and feels like an extension of your arm. it will ( i think ) help you be a better shot compared to a rifle you have to reachthe forearm to far to feel comfortable. i had that problem with all my rem 7600 and had to hold under the magazine. which turning it into a 1shot instead of a pump cause i had to move my arm forward to cycle. out of my experience with guns. i have found the savage, remington, and browning to be excellent guns for accuracy. my savage shoots less than 1" at 100yds. my browning medallion shoots 1.080" groups at 100yds. i also have found from articles and from these WONDERFUL people on this site will tell you that tikka dose not send there guns out until they find out that they shoot decent groups. i for one never bought a tikka because i did not like the way the reciever is on them. it would be hard to manually put the ammo into the action like a blind magazine. they make that space real small for some reason. |
