encore trigger job?
 

I would like to get a trigger job done on my encore and I was wondering who you guys would recommend for doing this, also what weight did you get yours set at? I'll be using it primarily in the handgun configuration and I was thinking about a two pound trigger or do you think that I could get it a little lighter and still have the hammer return to a safe position?

If you think you can do it yourself you can get the different springs and change them yourself,you can check out the prices,I think the instruction disk is around $10,and the springs are about 8 bucks each.
I did mine last year and have a good 2 1/2 lb pull on my encore.
The disk also talks about the hammer resetting.The site is listed in soonershooters post.I changed the hinge pin also,If you want to see how it shot afterwards check out the pic below,Encore 209x50

thanks guy's. herman, what springs did you buy, as i stated earlier i'm wanting to get the trigger pull around 2 pounds? i think i'm going to do it myself, i down loaded the instructional a while back when mike was giving it away free and it seems like it is farely easy to do.

I got the #3 and #4,the three gave me about 3 1/2 lbs so I put the #4 in and now have 2 1/2 lb.If you go step by step with the instructions you should have no problem,with the springs he sends a little pin to use,the first one I ordered didn't have it,it makes it a lot easier to change the spring,the first time I let the spring get away from me and didn't find it in the carperet untill the next day,so work in a place that it will be easy to find when you change the spring.
