I bought one last fall and shot a couple of foxes with it, a bear, and a couple of deer. They all died pretty good.

I got 7mm-08 in a 516 Striker Pistol. It works real well on deer,have gotten a couple,one at 150yds. Good round

I just bought a Remington classic in the 7/08 before deer season because I wanted the classic.took it hunting one day got a large spike using the new Hornady sst bullet.did a good job,I read inthe reloading you could load a 130 gr bullet faster than a 130 gr 270 I am going to check it out this summer.

I won one a couple months ago at a gun raffle I have yet to hunt with it, but I have shot it. I like it!!

For everyone who has shot the 7mm-08 how much recoil does it have. I^m going to buy a new rifle for my daughter to deer hunt with.She is 10 years old now I want to get something that will drop a deer cleanly but won^t have her flinching and being afraid to pull the trigger. <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
