Savage 10gxp3 .300 Wsm
 

Does anybody own one of these or know how well the gun gruops at long ranges. I am thinking of buying one but I want to know how well they perform before I invest.

I purchased the package deal from BassPro. I can put 3 rounds dead center at 150yds so I would have to say that its a great gun.

An accurate gun, and cheap too. But it might be better not to get a package gun. Maybe a model 11G? It's a little cheaper but it doesn't come with the scope. Which, IMO, if you get the model 10gxp3 you should upgrade the scope anyways. http://www.savagearms.com/11g.htmLooks better, too ;)

I just bought that rifle. I havent had time yet to go fire her.I got the 243. It was the 10gxp3. I like the feel of it. I not real crazy about the Simmons scope and I will upgrade later. Cant beat the price tag on it however. As soon as I get it to the range Ill tell u how it shoots. I hope someone else will speak up on this model of Savage,how it shoots,ejects,and how there scope has held up???
